From Diet to Toothbrush: The Ultimate Natural Oral Care Routine
"Say Goodbye to Fluoride, Hello to Real Oral Health"
Replace your toothpaste and traditional fluoride-filled oral care with an ultra-soft toothbrush (to protect enamel from the abrasion of aggressive brushes), and organic natural tooth-cleaning powder (look for one with baking soda, but make sure it's aluminum-free).
Practice oil pulling twice a day. Most of the oral problems can be linked to food. The gut is connected to literally everything, and what you eat literally becomes the building blocks of your cells. Fix your energy inputs and, diet, in this case, and you will fix oral issues.
Avoid fluoride at ALL COSTS; it calcifies your pineal gland over time.
❓️ Did you know that fluoride was first introduced into water as a byproduct of industrial waste disposal? TLDR: Fluoride is bad. Use baking soda without aluminum and a soft toothbrush, and swish with high-quality virgin oil.
Our ancestors had perfect teeth without "normal" oral care because of their diets, which were rich in nutrients and free from processed junk. Ideal diet will consist of:
Raw dairy- Don't eat any dairy unless it is raw and grass-fed. The pasteurization process destroys lactase, which helps your body digest and metabolize milk. Even if you are lactose intolerant, raw dairy might still be tolerable because it retains the enzymes your body needs.
Red meat- it’s packed with bioavailable nutrients, red meat is essential for strong teeth and bones. It's one of the most efficient ways to get Vitamin B12, iron, and zinc. Eggs (pasture-raised and organic) are nutrient powerhouse rich in choline, Vitamin D, and Omega-3s, all of which are essential for gum health and bone strength.
Organic fruit- it provides natural sugar and antioxidants but doesn't have the side effects of processed sugars. Some fruits, like apples, can even act as natural toothbrushes!
Other good sources of healthy fats include butter, olive oil, coconut oil, and ghee, which supply great support to general health and reduce different inflammations in the body, including at your gums.
Additional Oral Health Tips Include more fermented foods in your diet, such as sauerkraut, kimchi, or kefir, to support gut health, which will positively influence your oral health.
Stay away from processed sugars and refined grains
they provide a field day for the bad bacteria in your mouth. Drink plenty of water, particularly after meals, to rinse food particles away and keep the pH level of your mouth fluid.
Scrape your tongue with a tongue scraper daily to remove toxins and bacteria from your tongue.
Try adding a drop or two of therapeutic-grade essential oils-clove or peppermint, for example-to your oil-pulling routine for extra antibacterial benefits.
Fun Fact 💡
The alignment of your teeth and jaw is influenced by how often you chew hard foods. Soft, processed diets have contributed to misalignment issues over generations. Add some crunchy vegetables, such as celery and carrots, to help strengthen jaw muscles.
